I am a master's student joining Mark Paschke's restoration ecology lab. I'm originally from New Mexico, but have been living in Northern California for the past 10 years. My undergraduate degrees are in Biology and Environmental Studies, from California State University (Sonoma State). Since 2005 I've been working in riparian restoration, and for the past few years I've been the restoration program manager at a nonprofit dedicated to restoration and environmental education in the Laguna de Santa Rosa, the largest freshwater wetlands complex in northern coastal California. My MS research will focus on plant-insect interactions in grasslands.
