Megan S. Matonis is a PhD student working with Dr. Dan Binkley and a graduate student cooperator with the Science Integration and Application Staff at the Rocky Mountain Research Station. The focus of her dissertation research is on methods for facilitating collaborative and landscape-scale forest restoration of ponderosa pine and mixed conifer forests. Megan received her B.S. degree in Natural Resource Management from CSU and her M.Sc. in Forestry from Michigan State University. She spent a year and a half working in Washington, DC for the Forest Service on the Policy Analysis staff before returning to school for her PhD."
