Jordan graduated from Savannah State University, with a B.S. in Environmental Science. He has gained a wide range of research experience in programs such as Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP), UNAVCOÃ¢??s Research Experiences in Solid Earth Sciences for Students (RESESS), NASAÃ¢??s Undergraduate Student Research Program (USRP) and Woods Hole Partnership Education Program (PEP). His research interests include developing and improving environmentally sustainable communities that support basic lifestyles, understanding climate change influenced by natural and anthropogenic factors. Aside from research, Jordan likes to travel, read, listen to music, and spend time with his family. In the fall, he will be matriculating into the M.S. program in Ecology, working under the guidance of Scott Denning.
