Ingrid Slette

I am a new graduate student joining Alan Knappâ??s lab. For my PhD, I plan to study how grasslands respond to various interacting aspects of climate change. I am particularly interested in belowground responses and in changes in carbon cycling through this ecosystem. I received my B.S. in Biology from Hope College in 2012. After graduating, I worked as a research associate at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center and then at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. My research has taken me from the tropics to the arctic, ranging from microbiology to ecosystem ecology. I am very excited to move to Fort Collins, and I look forward to exploring Colorado!
