I am a new M.S. working with Dr. Paul Ode. I have been interested in studying insects for most of my life and recently graduated from Michigan State University with a B.Sc. in entomology. While at MSU, I worked on host specificity testing of an egg parasitoid for biological control of Brown Marmorated Stink Bug. Here at CSU, I am excited to continue research in parasitoid ecology, now focusing on competition between two parasitoids of the imported cabbageworm, Pieris rapae. I am interested in contributing to our understanding of biological control and natural enemies to improve efficacy and preservation of native species. Outside of research I enjoy insect collecting, swimming, fishing, golfing, rock climbing, and playing guitar.
