Santiago Hincapie is a PhD student working under Gregory D. Graff in Agriculture and Resource Economics department. He grew up in Medellin, Colombia and immigrated to the United States where he received his B.S. in Civil Engineering and Economics from Florida Atlantic University. He worked as a field engineer in the south Florida area. Later he received his M.S. in Economics from Florida Atlantic University and a MBA from Nova Southeastern University. His research interests include natural resource (water) management, coastal resource management, natural resource collaboration, riparian ecology, and human and environmental conflict.
