Shelby McClelland

I am a PhD student in Meagan Schipanski's Agroecology group. My research focuses on GHG decision support for organic agriculture production systems. I am researching soil carbon and GHG emissions as a function of key organic-oriented practices, with particular focus on cover crop growth parameters, manure and organic amendments, and plant-soil impacts of management intensive grazing practices. This research is being done in collaboration with the NREL lab at CSU and it will be integrated into the COMET-Farm and Cool Farm tools.
