I'm working on a PhD in ecology with Dr. Miranda Redmond's forest ecology lab. My research focuses around mast seeding in semi-arid conifers. Specifically- I look at how disturbance, management, and climate drive landscape-level patterns in seed production across pinyon-juniper woodlands and ponderosa pine forests of the southwest, and the consequences of this heterogeneity for forest regeneration and wildlife populations. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2014, and worked with US Forest Service in Utah and South Dakota before returning to Colorado. My research interests include ecosystem management, landscape ecology, historical ecology, and biogeography.
