Who: We are looking for a GDPE graduate student to serve as the Science Communication Fellow and Program Assistant

When: Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. The appointment will be hourly one semester (5-10 hours/week, as a supplement to your main appointment) and a 20-hour/week GSA (Graduate Support Assistant) the other semester. There is also the possibility for a GSA May 15 – June 30, 2025 to get started this summer.

Pay and Compensation: Hourly pay rate: $25. The GSA is paid comparably to a GTA (Graduate Teaching Assistant, $2471/month) and covers in-state tuition up to 5 credit hours (or additional as funding permits).

Details: The fellow will work on science communication projects on behalf of GDPE with an eye towards ensuring the sustainability of any new projects initiated. Please see below for a list of expected duties and potential other activities that include both traditional science communication and program support for GDPE.
