The GDPE Executive Committee invites nominations for our Distinguished Ecologist series for 2024-2025. Please submit nominations by Friday, April 5 to be evaluated by the GDPE Executive Committee at their next meeting. This is an amazing opportunity to bring extraordinary ecologists to campus! We define “distinguished” broadly (exemplary, outstanding, highly respected)and seek a diverse group of speakers with clear potential to engage GDPE students and faculty. This call is for five speakers, two in fall and three in spring:

FALL: Two speakers total

• GDPE Resident Ecologist
• GDPE Alum

SPRING: Three speakers total

• Rising Star Ecologist(s) are at an early career stage
• Distinguished Ecologist(s) are established scientists
